Heterogeneous Photo-Fenton Catalytic Degradation of Practical Pharmaceutical Wastewater by Modified Attapulgite Supported Multi-Metal Oxides

چکیده
Chemical synthetic pharmaceutical wastewater has characteristics of high concentration, toxicity and poor biodegradability, so it is difficult to directly biodegrade. We used acid modified attapulgite (ATP) supported Fe-Mn-Cu polymetallic oxide as catalyst for multi-phase Fenton-like ultraviolet photocatalytic oxidation (photo-Fenton) treatment with actual chemical the object. The results showed that at initial pH 2.0, light distance 20 cm, dosage hydrogen peroxide concentration 10.0 g/L 0.5 mol/L respectively, COD removal rate reached 65% BOD5/COD increased 0.387 when reaction lasted 180 min. gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) indicated Fe-Mn-Cu@ATP had good catalytic potential significant synergistic effect, could remove almost all heterocycle compounds well. 3D-EEM (3D electron microscope) fluorescence spectra intensity decreased significantly during degradation, UV humus-like fulvic were effectively removed. degradation efficiency nanocomposite only by 5.8% after repeated use 6 cycles. It seems appropriate this process a pre-treatment facilitate further biological treatment.

The heterogeneous photo-Fenton degradation of crystal violet under visible light has been investigated usingcopper modified iron oxide. The photocatalyst has been prepared by coprecipitation method. The rate ofphotocatalyic degradation of dye was monitored spectrophotometrically. It has been observed thatphotocatalytic degradation follows pseudo first order kinetics. The effect of various param...
